Ian McBrearty joined the women's soccer coaching staff prior to the 2023 season.

McBrearty has experience as a head coach with FC Delco/Continental out of Conshohocken, PA as well as at the high school level as Associate Head Coach for Bishop Shanahan High School. He was named FC Delco's Coach of the Year for the 2021-22 season. At Bishop Shanahan, McBrearty was a member of the 2022-23 Daily Local All-Area Coaching Staff of the Year and was the Head Junior Varsity Coach for one season.

McBrearty holds a bachelor's degree in recreation, park, and tourism management from Penn State.
