Elizabeth "Izzi" Howard became an assistant coach for the CMU Women's Soccer program before the 2021 season.

Howard is no stranger to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, having served as a graduate assistant and interim head coach at Regis between the 2018 and 2020 seasons. Following her time with the Rangers, she served as an assistant coach at Montana State University-Billings (MSUB), her alma mater, for the Spring 2021 season.

Howard earned her undergraduate degree from MSUB where she was a two-year member of the women's soccer team. While there, she was presented the Quest for Excellence Award for demonstrating teamwork, hard work, dedication, discipline and passion on the women's soccer team. She also served as a volunteer assistant women's soccer coach at MSU-Billings in the spring of 2016. Prior to MSU-Billings, she spent her freshman and sophomore seasons at Arkansas State University.

Her coaching experience includes stints as head coach for Billings United and technical director for Folsom SC, South Pasadena AYSO, and Wheat Ridge Avalanche SC. Howard also served as an assistant coach for Colorado Select (formerly Colorado Olympic Development) for two seasons and as a head coach for Colorado Select Mountain-Region.

Howard earner a BS. History from MSUB in 2016 and a dual-specialization MA in Athletic Administration and Crime Studies from Regis University in 2020. She is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in Teaching and Leadership from Colorado Mesa University.
