Jason Gotcher, who has more than 29 years of coaching experience at the club, Olympic-development, and collegiate level as well as playing experience at the NCAA DI and professional level, is in his second season as an assistant the Youngstown State women’s soccer program

Gotcher, a native of Midland, Texas, holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “A” License.

 In 2021-2022, Gotcher was the coach for the Girls North Texas State Olympic Development Program.  He previously coached collegiate soccer at Northlake Junior College in 2016. 

Gotcher played men’s soccer at University of Arkansas- Little Rock and was awarded the Sunbelt Conference’s Scholar Athlete award. 

He signed a professional contract with the Texas Outlaws of the PASL Pro League in 2008 and played forward and midfielder for the Outlaws. He also gained International playing experience during that time. 

Gotcher also has served as a color analyst for both SMU radio’s men’s and women’s soccer and with ESPN college network radio.

He holds a bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in Organizational Management from Dallas Baptist University.  He also is a Certified Mediator in accordance with the Texas Civil Practices Code and has more than 24 years of experience within the industry as a Network Engineer.
