Joining the staff in June of 2021, Javi serves as the Intern Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Soccer and Women’s Tennis teams.

Javi spent the last two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA, where she received her Master’s Degree in Higher Education. In her two years she provided coverage for the Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Track & Field, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, and Cross Country Teams

Javi attended Lincoln Memorial University where she played tennis while completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. 

She is a NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer and licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Louisiana. She holds certifications in First Aid & CPR/AED for the professional rescuer. 

Javi enjoys staying active and playing tennis in her free time.
