Joe LoCascio joins Lewis & Clark men’s and women’s soccer ahead of the 2023-24 season. He will serve as the program’s new goalkeeper coach. 

LoCascio is no stranger to the Northwest Conference. He played at Linfield University for four seasons, before serving as the men’s and women’s goalkeeper coach for the Wildcats for two years and the Willamette University women’s soccer coach for one season. 

He currently also serves as the Director of Goalkeeping for the United PDX soccer club and serves as the goalkeeper coach for United PDX’s USL2 and USLW teams. LoCascio previously served as the Director of Goalkeeping and a youth head coach at Bend FC Timbers. During his time with Bend FC Timbers, he helped the U-14 Boys Team win the USYS President’s Cup in 2021. LoCascio also worked with Albion SC Development Academy as a Goalkeeper and Sports Performance Coach in San Diego, California. 

Outside of his work at the club level, LoCascio led Summit High School Boys Soccer to back-to-back conference titles and the 2021 6A State Championship. He was named the Coach of the Year at the state level and led the team to a combined 32-2-2 record over his two seasons.
