John Ward joined UB in June of 2005 and named Associate Head Athletic Trainer in 2021. Ward graduated from UB with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in exercise science in May of 2004.  While completing his master’s degree, Ward served as a student athletic trainer for the UB women’s soccer team during the 2003 fall semester, and did an internship at Sweet Home High School during the 2004 spring semester.  Ward serves as a clinical preceptor for athletic training students from UB and currently works with the women’s soccer and women’s swimming and diving teams.
