Jordan Murrell joined the UNLV women's soccer program as a volunteer assistant coach in March 2023.

Murrell comes to the Rebel program after playing six years professionally in the USL Championship (USLC) and the Canadian Premier League (CPL). A third-round selection (57th overall - Real Salt Lake) in the 2015 MLS Superdraft, he spent his career with four USLC teams – the most recent of which was Las Vegas Lights FC in 2020 – along with CPL club Valour FC (2019).

Originally from London, England, Murell holds citizenship in Canada and notched 10 international caps with the Canadian National Team at the U18, U20 and U23 levels.

Additionally, Murrell played four years of collegiate soccer at Syracuse, where he remains tied for fourth on the program's all-time assists list (20). He graduated with his bachelor's degree in economics from SU in 2014.
