Jordan Welsh joined the Indiana State staff in December of 2023 following a two-season stint working with Bellarmine University as an assistant and goalkeeping specialist.

In Welsh's first season, Bellarmine was one of the top defensive units in the ASUN, ranking second in the conference in goals-against average (0.88) while tying for third in shutouts (eight). Goalkeeper Elyssa Francis earned ASUN All-Conference accolades, and midfielder Alexa Orozco was an ASUN All-Freshman Team selection.

Welsh joined the program after having spent the previous four years at FC Pride (Indianapolis), serving as youth goalkeeping director (ECNL) and as goalkeeping coach with the club’s WPSL women’s team. Prior to that, Welsh spent four years coaching with Dynamo FC, which followed a brief playing stint in England.

Welsh holds a bachelor’s degree in research psychology from Indiana State University. He is currently working towards his USSF C License and holds a USC Goalkeeping Diploma. He is joined by his wife Lacey and their two golden doodles.
