Jordan Williams was appointed assistant coach of the Manhattanville College women’s soccer team in August of 2022. 

Williams comes to Manhattanville with four years of coaching experience, most recently serving as the Team and Goalkeeper Coach for the Harrison Youth Soccer Club where he helps with individual development. He also assists with team scheduling and rostering for practices, games, and tournaments. Williams would start his coaching career as a volunteer for the Tar River Youth Soccer Association where he curated training sessions for high school aged athletes and was an assistant coach on game days. During the 2019-2020 season, Williams was a team intern for the New York Cosmos where he was involved with ticket sales, community events, and fan engagement. From 2018 to 2020, Williams was a Sports Instructor for House of Sports where he created and delivered soccer camp activities. He was also a Soccer Trainer for New Era Girls Soccer where he coached for after school and summer programs while compiling and organizing practice and training sessions. 

Prior to coaching, Williams played for the United Soccer League PDL Evergreen FC in Virginia. He was also a member of the North Carolina Wesleyan College men’s soccer team from 2017 to 2018, where the team would claim the 2017 USA South Tournament Championship. He would then transfer to Mercy College where the Mavericks would be named 2018 ECC Co-Regular Season Champions and 2019 ECC Tournament Champions, while Williams himself would be recognized as United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-Region. 

He currently holds a USSF “D” license and a United Soccer Coaches level 1 goalkeeper license. 

Williams is a 2021 graduate of Mercy College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. He currently resides in Purchase, N.Y.
