Julia Hangartner begins her first season as an assistant coach with the Bethel University women’s soccer program. Hangartner, who earned All-MIAC honorable mention honors in 2015, was a four-year contributor for the Royals from 2011-15 and played a key role in leading BU to their first-ever MIAC Playoff appearance in 2014.

In addition to her coaching duties at Bethel, Hangartner is a head coach for the u14 and u15 girls teams at Minneapolis United. Past coaching experiences have included a stop as an assistant coach at Victor J. Andrew High School in Tinley Park, Illinois, in 2016 and a winter training coach at Fusion Development Program from 2013-15.

Hangartner, who graduated with a degree in Psychology, lives in Arden Hills with her husband Ryan (’15).
