Galvan comes to the Golden Eagles with a wealth of both playing and coaching experience. He played two years at Allen Community College before transferring to Newman University to gain NCAA experience. He ended his playing career at Friends University where earned a bachelor's degree in general studies/business administration.

Having coached at the club, high school, and collegiate level, Galvan has gained an abundance of coaching experience in a short amount of time. In Galvan's most recent position as an assistant coach at Butler Community College, he helped lead his team to two eastern conference championships and a district championship. Galvan's primary responsibilities include recruiting, player development, and program administration.

"I'm looking forward to working towards winning a Summit League championship and becoming a perennial power within our conference, all under Oral Roberts' faith-based principles," said Galvan.
