Kellie Ernst ’10 entered her second stint with the program as a volunteer in 2021. She served as the program's volunteer assistant coach for the spring season and moves into the  director of operations role to start the 2021 fall season.

Ernst also served as the Tribe’s volunteer assistant during the 2011 season, helping the Tribe to a 17-3-2 record. W&M won the Colonial Athletic Association title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

A standout forward during her career with the Tribe, Ernst finished with 40 career points on 16 goals and eight assists in 76 career games. seven of her career goals were game winners. W&M amassed a 58-20-7 record over her four seasons and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2006, 2007 and 2008. She graduated with her degree from William & Mary in kinesiology and health science in 2010.

Ernst has been heavily involved in the local soccer community since her graduation from William & Mary. She worked with and played for the Tidewater Sharks. Ernst was a player/coach for the Sharks’ Women’s Premiere Soccer League side from 2012-14. She worked as the director of game day operations for the Sharks’ Indoor Premier League team (2010-12) and served as the director of youth programs and girls director of coaching for Tidewater Sharks FC.

Recently, she served as the Director of Youth Soccer at the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex and spent seven years as the head girls’ soccer coach at Lafayette High School.
