Kirsten Ishikawa joined the Eagles full-time in July of 2022. The 2022-23 school year is her first on staff, and she will work with EWU’s soccer and men’s tennis teams.

Ishikawa earned both her Bachelor’s degree in exercise science and her Master’s degree in athletic training at Eastern Washington, while competing on the golf team from 2015-19, earning All-Big Sky Honorable Mention during her final year with the Eagles. She was also a four-year member of the Spring All-Big Sky academic team and was a four-time WGCA Academic All-American.

During her undergrad and graduate studies, she assisted with the football, women’s soccer and men’s tennis teams. She also served as an athletic trainer at Medical Lake High School.

After graduating with her Master’s degree, Ishikawa worked as an athletic training intern at UNLV with the men’s and women’s swimming and diving team and also worked with their summer camps.

She is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and also has her athletic trainer’s license in Nevada, and is also a member of NATA.

Ishikawa’s sister, Jaelin, is in her senior year on EWU’s golf team in 2022-23.
