Leigh Wightman begins her second season as an assistant coach for the women's soccer program. 

A former player for the Mountain Lions, Wightman appeared in 64 games, and was on the field for some of the most memorable moments in program history. The Woodley, England native started 51 games as a central defender for the Mountain Lions, and was part of two Mountain East Conference Championship teams (2019, 2021) as well as an Atlantic Regional Championship team last fall.

Wightman is pursuing her master's degree in health promotion.
