Letitia was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa and a former CCU track and field/cross country student-athlete. Letitia holds a M.Ed. in School Counseling from Campbell University in North Carolina, and was a school counselor in Horry County, South Carolina for 3 years, before joining the counseling team at CCU.

Letitia graduated from CCU in 2015 with a B.A. in Sociology. Letitia is also a Certified School Career Development Advisor and has a passion for student academic success and career development.

As the Counselor and Intercultural Specialist, Letitia is committed to creating a space where authentic life experiences and genuine thoughts and feelings meet unconditional positive regard. She believes that the role of a counselor is to be a facilitator of change and she considers it a privilege to build relationships with students to enhance their personal, social, and emotional growth.

Her approach to counseling is Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and she enjoys helping students with emotional regulation skills, exercises, and strategies.

In her free time, Letitia enjoys spending time with her husband and son, running, hiking, and watching Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and series.
