Liz Wluka joined the BC athletics staff in June 2022 and serves as the Director of Athletic Nutrition.

As a registered dietitian and a board certified specialist in sports dietetics, Wluka provides individual counseling as well as team nutrition education to enhance the health and performance of all student-athletes. In this role, she is responsible for planning, developing and implementing performance nutrition services provided to 30+ teams.

Prior to BC, Wluka was the first full-time Director of Sports Nutrition at the University of Connecticut from 2017-2022. While working at UConn, she completed her Masters degree in Applied Nutrition and Fitness from Northeastern University in 2020. 

Prior to UConn, Liz completed the Sports Nutrition Immersion Program (SNIP) at UNC- Chapel Hill from 2016-2017. Liz completed her dietetic internship at Pepperdine University and interned at UCLA in their sports nutrition department in 2016. Liz graduated from Syracuse University in 2015 majoring in Nutrition & Dietetics.

Wluka was recently elected in May 2023 to serve on the CPSDA (Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association) Board of Directors as the Student Programming Chair.  

A native of Sharon, Mass., Wluka was selected for both the Boston Globe and Herald All-Scholastic teams in 2011 in the sport of basketball. Wluka was also selected Hockomock League MVP her senior season, becoming the first Sharon high female basketball player to receive this award in three decades.
