Born and raised in North Wales UK, Martyn graduated from Staffordshire University with a bachelor’s degree in Education Studies and moved to the U.S., in 1993. He earned his Master’s degree in Sports Science from the USSA in 2006. He most recently spent five seasons at St Joseph’s College as assistant/goalkeeper coach to both the men’s and women’s programs. Martyn has also been the Director of Coaching and the Director of goalkeeping at Seacoast United since 2008. To date, Martyn has sent 31 keepers to play at the Division 1 NCAA level and more than 100 spanning all collegiate divisions. He is married to Becky and lives in Scarborough.
