Mauri Jackson '21 begins her first season as an assistant coach with the Warriors in 2023.

A 2021 All-PSAC East and United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team selection, Jackson made 59 starts for the Warriors during her career from 2018-21, recording a win-loss record of 38-19-1, with 25 shutouts. She allowed less than a goal per game (0.86 GAA) and made stops on 85 percent of shots headed in her direction. In 2021, Jackson earned United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region First Team and also took home All-PSAC East First Team honors. Over the course of her career, she was named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week three times.

“We’re excited to have Mauri back on the field at ESU,” DeWan said of her new assistant. “The wealth of knowledge she brings to our goalkeepers will be a big asset to what we are trying to accomplish this year.”

Among Warrior goalkeepers all-time, Jackson ranks fourth in saves, third in goals against average, fourth in minutes played and second in shutouts.

Along with her experience in patrolling the goal at Eiler-Martin Stadium, Jackson has coaching experience at her Alma Mater Kingsway Regional High School, South Jersey Elite F.C., The Keeper Institute and TOP Soccer.
