Geldernick enters her first season as the Head Soccer Coach in 2023.

"I am thrilled to have Megan lead our soccer program," Fleagle said. "Coach Megan comes to Allentown highly recommended. I know she will be a wonderful role model to our team and will build a strong culture for our soccer program. She has a proven track record in soccer. Her time as an athlete at The Ohio State and her time as an assistant Coach at Villanova and Bryn Mawr will flow naturally into our soccer program. This is her moment to lead a great team and continue their momentum. I know she will inspire and motivate our team to greatness."

Geldernick, a native of Horsham, Pa., will make her head coaching debut with the Falcons. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she was a four-year member of the women's soccer program, where she helped lead the Buckeyes to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2013, 2015, and 2016, highlighted by a Sweet 16 appearance in 2015 and Round of 32 in 2016. Geldernick was also honored for her performance in the classroom, being named Academic All-Big Ten.

Geldernick comes to Allentown following one season as the Assistant Soccer Coach at Bryn Mawr College. During her tenure with the Owls, her primary responsibilities centered around planning and running practice sessions, assisted and led the recruiting process of prospective student-athletes with a skillset of high academic and performance excellence. Additionally, Geldernick held administrative duties including compliance paperwork submission, academic pre-reads, and organized and implemented camps and clinics for the soccer program.

Prior to her stop at Bryn Mawr, Geldernick spent five years as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Villanova University. While with the Wildcats, she planned and executed training sessions, assisted in the recruiting process, and was the compliance liaison for the women's soccer program. In addition, Geldernick had administrative duties that included overseeing compliance paperwork submissions and organized recruiting visits. She was also the coaching staff medical designee from the sports medicine staff for emergency management.

Geldernick is also the Coach and Director at FC Bucks Premier Soccer Club, a position she has held since August of 2020. Also serving as the Director of Goalkeeping for the club, she developed practice plans that focused the four aspects of the game with successful implementation of goals for players across skill levels and abilities.

"I would like to thank Athletic Director Christy Malone Fleagle for entrusting me with this role," said Geldernick. "I am extremely excited to be joining Cedar Crest College and the soccer program. It was clear to me when I stepped on campus that this is a fantastic place to be. The program is competitive with a hunger to continue to grow and develop. I am thrilled to be joining this amazing community and am ready to get to work."

Geldernick inherits a Cedar Crest College soccer program that finished 12-4-2 overall and 8-0-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), which culminated in a Runner-Up finish in 2022.

Geldernick graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in education sports industry with a minor in human development and family science.
