Meghan Negron is in her first year with the Columbia University training staff as an assistant athletic trainer. She works year-round with the Columbia women’s soccer and women's lacrosse programs.

Negron came to Columbia after serving two years as an assistant athletic trainer at nearby Manhattan College, where she worked directly with the Jaspers' women's soccer and women's lacrosse teams.

From 2016-19, Negron worked at her alma mater Towson University, where she served as an assistant athletic trainer. In assisting the athletic training staff in providing athletic training services to student-athletes, her sport responsibilities included women's lacrosse, football, men's basketball and field hockey.

She has also served as an athletic trainer at the Gilman School in Baltimore, Md. and at St. Paul's School for Girls in Lutherville, Md. In both experiences, she provided athletic training services to middle school and high school level interscholastic and intramural sports teams and worked with a variety of varsity programs.

A 2019 graduate of Towson University, Negron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. She is a BOC Certified athletic trainer and licensed athletic trainer by the state of New York. She also holds certifications from OSHA, the American Heart Association (CPR/AED), and HIPAA. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers' Association, and Maryland Athletic Trainers' Association.
