Reyes begins his third season as Assistant Coach for the Lady Buffs after spending a season as a graduate assistant. Reyes was promoted to a full-time assistant on Feb. 2, 2021, following the departure of associate head coach Kevin Driggs.

During his first year in Canyon, Reyes helped the Lady Buffs win 10 or more games for the fifth straight season. WT finished 10-8-0 and 9-4-0 in conference play en route to making the Lone- Star Conferernce Quarterfinals. The attack was led by Hannah Kelley-Lusk and Khaline Jacob combined  to score 19 goals and 11 assists.

During the CoVID shortened 2020-21 season, Reyes would help lead the Lady Buffs to a 6-4-0 overall record including a 6-2-0 record against NCAA Division II competition. WT took home two postseason accolades with Hannah Kelley-Lusk being named the conference’s Forward of the Year with Asha James being named the Newcomer of the Year. Reyes would also help Reagan Heelan earn All-Freshman team accolades during the Spring of 2021.

The Lady Buffs went 10-8-0 overall and 9-4-0 in LSC play earning the fifth seed in the conference tournament. Kelley-Lusk earned 1st Team All-Conference honors after scoring a team-high 10 goals and 25 points.

The Fall 2021 season would produce a record of 14-6-0 overall and 9-4-0 in LSC play earning the fourth seed in the conference tournament. The 2021 Fall season produced many LSC and post-season accolades. Kelley-Lusk earned LSC All-Tournament team honors, LSC Academic Player of the Year, LSC Forward of the Year, LSC Player of the Year, D2CCA Region Player of the Year, LSC Athletic Performance Athlete of the Year, CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year, National Strength & Conditioning Association All-American, 1st team D2CCA All-American, 1st team United Soccer Coaches All-American, and Ron Lenz National Player of the Year. Reagan Matacale was also named to the LSC All-Tournament team while Asha James received 2nd team All-Region Honors. Ashley Silvestre earned CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors while Emily Avila, Reagan Matacale, and Asha James were named to the LSC 2nd team and Maliyah Mendoza to 3rd. Cheyenne Orozco, a fifth-year senior, would earn the title of an NSCA All-American during her final season as a Lady Buff.

Reyes would begin his own soccer career while playing for Paris Junior College. Reyes was also a member of both the University of the Ozarks men’s soccer team and Grand Canyon University. Reyes graduated from University of the Ozarks with a degree in Health Sciences and a minor in psychology.

Reyes currently resides in Amarillo, TX.
