Nicole Lonergan (Schultz) returned in Fall 2022 for a second stint as an assistant coach with the Warriors. She was previously an assistant with the program from 2016 to 2018. Coach Lonergan's primary role is coaching the goalkeepers. As a former collegiate goalkeeper herself, Lonergan played for St. Mary's College in Moraga, Calif. She graduated in 2014 and has been coaching goalkeepers since.  

Lonergan is a resident of Turlock and a teacher at Turlock High School, where she is also the Head Coach for the Varsity Girls Soccer team. 

As an athlete, Lonergan was a four-year goalkeeper for St. Mary's College (2010-2014). As a senior she appeared in three matches, spending the year as the back-up goalkeeper. Her highlight of the season came on September 27th as she earned her first collegiate win in a 2-1 victory over Cal Poly. She also saw action against Loyola Chicago and Brigham Young, recording two saves against the Cougars.

The Boise, Idaho native was a three-year soccer letter winner at Mountain View High School. She was a three-time All-Southern Idaho Conference First Team honoree and was selected to the All-Star team as a Senior.

Lonergan was also a member of the Boise Capitals Soccer Club that won the Region G Championship in 2005, the State Championship in 2007, and was a Far Regional quarter finalists the same year. She was also a member of the UYSA Girls 92 state team for four years.
