Education:

Clawson earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Truman State and her Master of Science in CAATE Post-Professional Athletic Training from the University of Kentucky. She has been certified by IDN in dry needling.

Job Responsibilities:

Paige severs as the primary athletic trainer for Women’s Soccer and Men’s Golf.

Past Experience:

Prior to coming to Illinois, Clawson spent two years at Morehead State where she worked with the women’s basketball, cross country, and track & field teams. She also spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Kentucky where she worked with the university's football and track & field teams. She also acted as the athletic trainer for 200 athletes across 15 sports at Danville High School in Danville, Ky.

Clawson spent one season as an assistant athletic trainer at Division II Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo. During undergrad, Clawson worked as a student athletic trainer at Division II Truman State and as a student athletic training intern for J Robinson Intensive Wrestling Camps.

Personal:

The Missouri native currently resides in Champaign, Illinois.
