James Madison women’s soccer has added Parker Aaron to the sideline as a volunteer assistant coach, Head Coach Joshua Walters, Sr. announced on Jan. 18, 2023.

Ahead of the 2023 season, Aaron was promoted to an assistant coach for the Dukes.

During his first season at JMU, Aaron helped the Dukes return to the NCAA tournament behind a 9-5-8 record. The Dukes made their second consecutive appearance in the Sun Belt Conference championship match, before earning an at-large bid into the NCAA Championship. Three Dukes earned All-Sun Belt honors, as Suwaibatu Mohammed was named to the First Team and Brittany Munson and Alba Fernández Almagro were named to the Second Team. Mohammed and Munson also earned All-Region recognition as each were Second Teamers.

Prior to JMU, Aaron served as the director of coaching at Elevate Soccer Academy for four years where he was in charge of the development of players from the U8 age group to semi-professionals.

Aaron wrapped up a three-season career at Randolph College, where he played in 50 matches with 21 starts in the midfield. He served as team captain in his senior year, starting 13 of the 14 matches he played in. While at Randolph, he spent time at multiple youth soccer entities and college squads. He most recently did internships with the Liberty and JMU women’s soccer teams.

Aaron graduated from Randolph with a sport and exercise science degree and holds a USSF Soccer Coaching National “C” License.
