Rob Dahl was named Southern Virginia University's head men's soccer coach in April 2019. 

Dahl joins Southern Virginia with a wealth of experience, both as a coach and as a player.  Over several years, he has coached at Snow College, College of Southern Nevada, Utah Storm Club, Timpview High School and Dixie State University where he won an NJCAA National Soccer Championship in 2000 and was named the 2000 National Coach of the Year.

A native of Calgary, Alberta , Dahl grew up playing soccer and earned 1st-team All-State honors in Utah while attending Timpview High School. After serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to San Jose, California, he continued his soccer career playing in the Utah Men's Major Division on the Provo Strikers and played in college at Missouri Southern.

Dahl has been married for 32 years to his wife Camille. Together they have three children Kelsey, Eric, and Kirsten.
