Ryan joined the Howard Payne women's soccer staff in the summer of 2020 after a graduating from Howard Payne University in 2019.

Ryan spends his summers coaching soccer camps at Texas A&M and the University of Texas. He has found himself coaching six-year-olds in the Cen-Tex Soccer Association in Brownwood. Additionally, Ryan has played the role of volunteer assistant coach for his former high school program.

While at HPU, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.  While working on his bachelor’s degree, Ryan played soccer for four seasons. His position varied from defender to wing, and he was team captain his senior year.

Ryan served as a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) all four years of his undergraduate program. Ryan was named Academic All-Conference 2017, 2018, and 2019. In the Spring of 2018, he was one of 127 HPU athletes recognized on National Student-Athlete Day; an honor for those who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater, have made a significant contribution to their team and maintained a high level of integrity in their everyday life.

Prior to becoming a Yellow Jacket, Ryan played defender for the Arlington Martin High School Warriors for four years.  He was named Defensive MVP as a sophomore and, as a senior, was named MVP and a consensus All-District selection. ?
