Sara Larsen joined the Trojans staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in August 2021 and promoted to assistant athletic trainer in August of 2022. During her time at Little Rock, Larsen has been the primary athletic trainer for volleyball, women's basketball, and her current sports: women's soccer and track & field.

Larsen is the second longest tenured member of the Little Rock athletic training department. After joining the team as a graduate assistant, Larsen gained high praise from the head trainer for managing being a full-time graduate student and a primary athletic trainer for multiple sports. For that reason, Larsen received a promotion prior to finishing her master's degree program.

Prior to Little Rock, Larsen received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Texas State University where she was a student worker. At Texas State, Larsen gained clinical experience with the women's volleyball, track & field, football, women's soccer, and men's basketball.
