Scooter Kozeny enters her first season as Northwestern State’s soccer team’s director of operations.

She helps set up practices and handles team equipment responsibilities before and after practice and on game days.

Kozeny also helps with video duties during practice and on game days.

The former NSU defender appeared in 11 games in three seasons. She logged 114 minutes for the Lady Demons, including a career-high 31 minutes in a 2-0 victory at Central Arkansas on April 9, 2021. Kozeny also played 21 minutes in that year’s Southland Conference Tournament match against Southeastern Louisiana.

Prior signing with Northwestern State, she was a Second Team All-District selection as a freshman and sophomore, including earning the Defensive MVP in her sophomore campaign. In those two years, Kozeny also garnered Academic All-District accolades.
