Sean Yengo enters his 27th season as head coach of the women's soccer team in 2023 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The Blugolds finished their 2022 season tied for second in the WIAC and finished as the runner-up in the WIAC Tournament. They ended the campaign with a 13-6-2 record. 

Yengo currently ranks second all-time in the WIAC in wins (293) with a winning percentage of .618.  Yengo owns a career record of 125-55-14 in WIAC play.

Under Yengo, the Blugolds finished the 2005, 2006 and 2008 seasons ranked in the NSCAA Top 25 National Poll

Team finished second in the WIAC in 2008 while advancing to the NCAA Championship for the fourth consecutive season

Blugolds won the WIAC regular season and tournament championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Before 2005, no team had won either championship

Yengo received WIAC Coach of the Year honors in 2005, 2006 and 2007

2006 NSCAA Central Region Coach of the Year

2005 was the first time in program history the soccer team made an NCAA appearance. They now have a total of four.

Advanced to Sweet 16 in 2006

Advanced to second round in 2005 and 2008

Played a first round game in 2007

Previously served as an assistant coach for the Blugolds in 1996

Graduated from SUNY-Cortland in 1991 with bachelor's degree in physical education. Also earned master's degree from Cortland in 1996

Played soccer for Cortland from 1985 to 1989

Three-time SUNYAC wrestling champion and two-time All-American

Was a soccer coach at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Massachusetts from 1992 to 1996

Married to Tracy; Has two daughters (Danielle and Sydnee) and two sons (Zachary and Christopher)
