Spencer Reinford has been named a new assistant coach for the Bridgewater College women's soccer program ahead of the 2023 season.

Reinford comes to BC after spending the past two years as a graduate assistant at Bethany College. This past season the Bison tallied the second-best record in program history and set a program record in win percentage.

A native of Mifflintown, Pa., Reinford played collegiate soccer at University of Rio Grande and a season at Coastal Carolina. Reinford claimed a conference title with the Red Storm in 2017 and was named first team All-River States Conference. He also was a part of the 2015 NAIA National Championship team at Rio Grande and was a member of the 2016 Sunbelt Conference championship team for the Chanticleers. Prior to his collegiate career Reinford played for the Philadelphia Union U-18 Academy Team.

"I'm excited for Spencer to be here and share his expertise to our players and he will be a huge asset in the recruiting process," said head women's soccer coach Mike Van Horn.
