Teresa Moon joined the Dolphins coaching staff after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant women's soccer coach at Florida Tech. She joined JU in early 2024.

Prior to Florida Tech, Moon served eight years as the women’s soccer Associate head coach at Eastern Florida State College. During her time at EFSC, the Knights recorded a 117-17-3 record, reaching the National Tournament every season and becoming the national runner-up twice (2012, 2015). Moon was part of the staff that was named Junior College South Region Staff of the Year by the United Coaches Association in 2019.

Moon, an alumnus of Tech, ended her playing career as the most prolific scorer in program history with 38 career goals and 86 total points. She was the first recipient in program history of the SSC Player of the Year and SSC Offensive Player of the Year awards in 2009.

In 2009, Moon was named to the First Team All-SSC, Daktronics Second Team All-South Region, and CoSIDA Academic Second Team All-District. Additionally, she earned All-SSC Honorable Mention in 2006.

She helped lead the Panthers to their first NCAA Tournament Berth in 2008 and guided the team to back-to-back second-round finishes in 2008 and 2009.

Moon graduated from Florida Tech in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

She is USSF B certified. 

Moon resides in Jacksonville with her husband, Jacksonville women’s soccer head coach, Ryan Moon, as well as their daughter Evelyn and son Elliot.
