Trip Rogers joined the Centre women's soccer coaching staff in the spring of 2022 and was promoted to Associate Head Coach in the winter of 2024.
Rogers joined the Colonels with 15 years of coaching and development experience. He spent the last two season as the head coach at the University of Findlay, a Division II school in Ohio. He led the Oilers to a 21-3-5 record over those two seasons, helping the program navigate the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season with a Great Midwest Conference Tournament championship. While at Findlay, 13 of Rogers’ student-athletes earned All-Conference honors and the team earned a no. 24 national ranking in both of Rogers’ seasons.
Prior to Findlay, Rogers spent five years as the assistant coach at Morehead State University, where he served as recruiting coordinator and trained the goalkeepers. Rogers was also the head coach of Midway College from 2010-15. During those years, Rogers’ program led the Midway campus in student retention, team GPA, new student enrollment and community service. He got his collegiate coaching start at Georgetown College in Kentucky, where he served as a men’s soccer assistant from 2008-10.
In addition to his college coaching experience, Rogers worked for the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association’s Olympic Development Program from 2007-21, working primarily with goalkeepers.
