Tyson Zarnstorff began his coaching career at MLC as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach in the 2018-2019 season. After being an assistant for five years, Zarnstorff became the Head Women's Soccer Coach in December 2022.  

Zarnstorff was an elementary teacher in Lowell, Arkansas, for eight years. While there, he taught primary math, Physical Education, and religion in grades 3-9. He also coached recreation soccer in the fall and spring. After Arkansas, Zarnstorff went to Divine Savior Academy in Doral, Florida. He taught middle school math and science for three years and high school math for one year. He coached the middle school girl's soccer team for three years and started a successful high school girl's soccer program in his last year there.

At MLC, Zarnstorff teaches in the Math department and the Education department. 

In New Ulm, Zarnstorff has coached girls' rec and traveling soccer teams since he arrived at MLC. Every summer, he also coaches at a soccer camp hosted by John and Paul Ministries.
