Anton Mullen is in his first season as an assistant coach with the men’s soccer program in 2023.

Mullen has been tasked with coaching the Le Moyne goalkeepers. He spent the 2022 season as an assistant coach with the Herkimer Community College men's soccer program, helping lead the Generals to a 14-1-1 record and an appearance in the NJCAA DIII Men's Soccer Championship.

“Anton, with the goalkeepers, he's been a breath of fresh air,” said Le Moyne interim head coach Callum Donnelly ’17, M ’21. “I know the Herkimer coach where Anton came from and he had nothing but good things to say. It's been really nice, Anton's focusing on the goalkeepers. It's been really good to be able to fully trust him with the goalkeepers so we can take the field players and work.”

Mullen has experience as the Director of Soccer Operations at Accelerate Sports, as well as a goalkeeper coach with the Syracuse Development Academy in Utica.

The Baldwinsville, New York native played two seasons as a goalkeeper at Herkimer Community College in 2017 and 2018 before enrolling at Niagara University and competing for the Purple Eagles in 2019.

During his two seasons as a player at Herkimer, the Generals compiled a 34-4-1 record and advanced to the DIII Championship Semifinals in 2017.
