Kerr joins the Mustangs coaching staff as an assistant coach in September 2019. He helped guide the team to the ECAC semifinals his first season.Kerr comes from MAC Commonwealth foe Lycoming, where he served as an assistant coach for the 2018 season. With the Warriors, he was involved in recruiting, game-day coaching, and spring training. He also served as the junior high school head coach at Williamsport Area High School in 2018.Kerr started his collegiate playing career at Lycoming, becoming the first player in program history to earn First Team All-American honors as a sophomore. He was also named the 2014 MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year and was named to the All-Conference First Team in his two seasons with the team. As a freshman, Kerr helped guide the Warriors to their first conference title and NCAA Tournament berth.As a junior, Kerr transferred to Division I UMBC where he started 33 of the 34 games he saw action over his two seasons. He helped the team earn a national ranking as a junior and a spot in the America East Conference semifinals.A 2017 graduate of UMBC, Kerr earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
