Mustard joined the Mustangs coaching staff in September 2019, serving as the team's primary goalkeeper coach.

Prior to Stevenson, Mustard spent 11 seasons as the goalkeeper coach at York College (Pa.). During his time with the Spartans, Mustard's charges have allowed just 180 goals in 233 games covering 21837:11 of game action, good for a goals against average (GAA) of 0.77. The Spartans have notched 112 shutouts during those 233 games. 

Under Mustards tutelage, the Stevenson University goalkeepers have allowed 57 goals in 46 games covering 4394:38 with a combined 1.16% GAA, a save percentage at .808% with 15 shutouts during all competition. Mustard brings a wealth of passion and knowledge to the program and looks forward to continually developing the Mustang goalkeepers each season. 

Additionally, Mustard serves at Stevenson University as the Assistant Vice President for Facilities & Campus Safety. His additional coaching duties include the head girl’s goalkeeper coach for the Maryland Olympic Development Program (ODP), the Region 1 ODP U14 Girls Goalkeeper Coach, and as a national goalkeeper staff instructor for the United Soccer Coaches, formerly the NSCAA. 

Mustard also holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Level I and II Goalkeeper License,  "USSF B" field coaching license and the United Soccer Coaches National Diploma and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma with distinguished pass.

Mustard resides in nearby Maryland Line with his daughter Kaylee.
