Blake has an extensive background in athletic communications, starting as a student intern at Mississippi State University and progressing through roles at Belhaven University and Jackson State University before joining Mississippi College in 2021.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management from Mississippi State University and a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Belhaven University.

Currently, he serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications at Mississippi College, where he oversees media relations for various athletic programs.

Blake is also active in his community and is a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Madison, where he resides with his wife Courtney and their cat, Cooper.

Additionally, Blake received a football scholarship to Holmes CC in 2012 and promoted the 2020 ESPY award for Thomas “Snacks” Lee during his time at Jackson State University. 

He is a 2012 graduate of Jackson Academy, where he lettered in football, baseball and track.
