SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

In Van Holland's second season in 2023, the YellowJackets finished 6-5-5 overall. Senior Raul Torrez earned his second straight ASC Goalkeeper of the Year award, while freshman Caleb Nelson was named the league's Offensive Freshman of the Year. In all, five YellowJackets earned All-ASC honors.

In 2022, the YellowJackets finished the year 7-7-6 and advanced to the ASC Championship Tournament final for the first time since 1998. Van Holland and his staff earned ASC Coaching Staff of the Year, while junior Raul Torrez was named the league's Goalkeeper of the Year. The YellowJackets had five All-ASC selections. The YellowJackets needed to win their final three matches of the regular season in order to qualify for the conference tournament, and they did just that, besting Ozarks, Sul Ross State, and Howard Payne in a seven-day stretch to clinch the last postseason spot.

Once in the tournament, the YellowJackets advanced to the championship round for the first time since 1998, defeating No. 3 seed Hardin-Simmons and No. 2 seed Concordia in penalty shootouts in the first two rounds to reach the championship match.

PRIOR TO LETOURNEAU

Van Holland joined LeTourneau after a year as head coach at Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, South Dakota, where he began to establish a culture of hard work, success and dedication on and off the pitch. On a roster comprised of both youth and upperclassmen, Van Holland mentored three members of the squad to All-Great Plains Athletic Conference honorable mention accolades following the 2021 campaign.

Prior to Dakota Wesleyan, he served as the top assistant coach at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga. In his four seasons with the Scots, he assisted head coach Scott Bosgraf for a team that had an overall record of 47-22-5 and a conference record of 31-9-2. In 2019, Covenant won the regular season USA South Athletic Conference West Division title. While in Georgia, Van Holland also operated as the head coach at Red Wolves Academy in Chattanooga, Tenn., working with the U11 and U10 teams developing players and encouraging movement within the club.

His first pair of coaching stints previously placed him at Chattanooga Christian School in Chattanooga, Tenn. where he served as the middle school boys head coach for one season in 2018. Following his graduation in 2015, the four-year player functioned as the director of the Whatcom FC Rangers (U12 to U19) from 2015-17 located in Bellingham, Wash.

A graduate of Dordt University, Van Holland was a three-time All-Grand Plains Athletic Conference performer on the pitch for the Defenders (2011-15).

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT VAN HOLLAND

"I am very excited for this opportunity for Brady to be the head coach at LeTourneau. Brady was a tremendous asset for me as an assistant at Covenant in all facets of the job. He is a great coach on the field a very solid recruiter and a strong motivator. I believe LeTourneau is a great fit for Brady to incorporate his faith as he leads and trains the soccer team. I look forward to watching from Georgia and look forward to the possibility of playing LeTourneau down the road." - Scott Bosgraf, Covenant head men's soccer coach

"Even when Brady was a player at Dordt, he had a distinct desire to become a college soccer coach. Over the last few years, the Lord humbled him personally and refined him to become mature in Christ. He learned under a great coaching staff in a Christ centered environment at Covenant. During his time at Dakota Wesleyan, Brady learned the responsibilities of overseeing a college program. Now more than ever, he has come to know his strengths and weaknesses, the work needed to be successful in college, and how to lead men in a Christ centered manner." - Ryan Schreiner, former assistant at Dordt

"Brady made a huge impact on my playing career in college because he took time to get to know me and help me grow in my relationship with the Lord. His passion for coaching soccer brings joy and energy to those around him." - Seth Robinson, former player at Covenant, current assistant coach at LeTourneau
