Coach Hopp joined the staff at Seattle University in 2022. Under Coach Hopp’s tutelage Seattle University goalkeepers were named to the WAC all conference first team in 2022 (Akili Kasim) and 2023 (Charlie Lanphier). In 2023 the Seattle University men's soccer coaches were named the top staff in the Division I Far West Region by the United Soccer Coaches. 

Prior to Seattle University Hopp coached club and High School soccer in the Seattle Area. In 2019 Hopp was named Northwest region High School Coach of the Year by United Soccer Coaches. Hopp played collegiate soccer at the University of Washington where he graduated with bachelor’s degree. 

In addition to his duties with the Redhawks men’s soccer program, Hopp coaches at Seattle United where is the head coach for premier teams and coaches the clubs goalkeepers.
