Clayton Maves joins Coach Porter for his second year with the Pacific men’s soccer coaching staff in 2022.  Prior to Pacific, Maves was an assistant coach for the Oregon Tech men’s soccer program, assisting Porter for the 2019 season.

Maves was a four-year starting outside back to the Hustlin’ Owls from 2015-2018. His commitment to his growth saw him earn All-Cascade Collegiate Conference accolades as a junior and senior, while his teammates named him the MVP in 2018. After his senior season Maves extended his playing opportunity, making the USL Lane United FC roster during the summer of 2019.

A 2015 McMinnville high school graduate, Maves earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Oregon Tech in 2019.
