Collin Harrison joined the Mines staff in the spring of 2022, making the fall of 2023 season his second with the Orediggers.
During his first season in Golden, he helped the Orediggers to a 13-5-3 overall mark and a 9-1-0 showing in RMAC play, sweeping both the conference regular season and tournament titles to earn a bid to the NCAA tournament.
Harrison arrived in Golden touting a plethora of professional coaching and playing experience. His most recent coaching stop prior to joining the Orediggers was as an assistant coach with CD Genova in the Spanish 3rd Division from 2020-21. Other coaching stints include assistant roles with CD Son Cladera and Viva Sports, also located in Spain. Harrison holds the UEFA B Coaching License, Level 1/Level 2 Coaching Licenses from England, as well as a B2 Language Certificate in Spanish.
As a professional, Harrison played in the Canadian 1st Division and the Icelandic 2nd Division. Harrison also played one year in England (6th Division) and six years in Spain (3rd Division). His professional and semi-professional career was preceded by one collegiate season with NCAA Division I University of Portland, followed by three more seasons at West Coast Conference (WCC) rival Gonzaga University. During his time at Gonzaga, Harrison was named Gonzaga Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, WCC All-Academic First Team, and WCC Honorable Mention.
Originally from Colorado, Harrison played prep soccer at Silver Creek High School, club soccer with Colorado Rush, and in the Premier Development League with the Colorado Rapids U-23. His high school performances led to Daily Times-Call Player of the Year and three First-Team All-Conference nods. With the Colorado Rush, Harrison helped his team win two state titles while advancing to the regional championship match. He graduated from Silver Creek High School in 2006 and from Gonzaga University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
