Dr. Colleen Shotwell began her career at ESU in 2002 and serves as the Coordinator of Athletic Training Services.

She provides athletic training services to all university athletics. Her event coverage responsibilities include but are not limited to men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, softball, cross country and track and field. She also serves as a preceptor to students within the Athletic Training Education Program.

Dr. Shotwell pursued both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Pittsburgh. She obtained her PhD in athletic training from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah, in 2013.

Before working at ESU, she worked at Albright College and at Physical Therapy Associates of Northeastern PA, where she was the head athletic trainer for Pittston Area High School. She resides in Bear Creek Township with her husband, Brian Dudzinski, her son, Jase, and their golden retriever, Cubby.
