Erick Macall joined San Francisco State ahead of the 2023 season. 

The founder of Top Bay Training, a service that trains and guides athletes to develop their techniques, Macall also serves as an MLS Next and Girls Academy Caoch for Lamorinda SC. Since joining Lamorinda SC in November 2022, he works with the entire MLS Next program (U13-U19) GA girls (U16-U19). He implements trainings programs to boost individual and team performances, leads team meetings, and educates players on tactical and positional play. He has also worked at San Mateo Soccer Club.

Macall is working towards a degree in Finance from San Francisco State. He holds a National D license from the US Soccer Federation; a Level 1 - Data Analysis in Football; Advanced Training Diploma from United Soccer Coaches; Level 1 - Performance Analysis from Professional Football Scouts Association; and Wyscout Certification.
