Gabby Bermudez came to Davis in August in 2022 and currently oversees athletic training for men's soccer and equestrian. She received her bachelor's degree at San Diego State before completing her master's at San Jose State. Following her master's program at SJSU, Bermudez served as a graduate assistant at San Francisco State where she worked with women's volleyball and women's track and field before taking on another graduate assistant, this time at Santa Clara where she worked with mens and women’s water polo. After graduate school, she spent time at Cal Poly Humboldt where she worked with cross country and track and field. In 2020, she began at Academy of Art, working with men’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s golf, and women’s tennis.

Originally from the Bay Area, Bermudez swam and played water polo. Her older sister got her bachelor's degree from UC Davis so she is very familiar with Davis and Aggie pride. She resides in Sacramento with he dog Winnie.
