Hickey was named to Coach Crampton's staff in the summer of 2021 having graduated from Georgian Court University in May, 2021 with a degree in exercise science, sport, and kinesiology.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, he was four-starter at goalkeeper for Georgian Court University earning CACC All-Conference First-Team honors as a senior, while also being named a team captain.

While in Ireland, Hickey played for Drogheda United's U19 academy team before signing and earning valuable experience with their SSE Airtricity Premier Division First-Team in the top flight of Ireland's Soccer leagues.

Hickey will be pursuing his MBA at DeSales.
