Jonah Garcia will embark on his first season as Hamline assistant men's soccer coach in 2023.

Garcia arrived to the Pipers following three seasons at Augsburg, where he was the assistant men's soccer coach. The Eagan, Minnesota native is a former NCAA Division III defender at UW-Superior. He captained the Yellowjackets to the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament, the team's first-ever appearance in the event. Garcia's senior campaign in 2017 saw him earn UMAC Defender of the Year, All-UMAC First Team, and United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors.

Garcia captained and played for Minneapolis City since 2018 and will continue to do so in 2024. He currently coaches for Minnesota Thunder Academy. 

Garcia earned his bachelor's degree from UW-Superior in 2018.
