Michele Barletta enters his first season (2023) as a part of the Men's and Women's Soccer coaching staffs as a graduate assistant.

Barletta earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Multimedia Journalism and Broadcasting, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. He is currently pursuing a general masters in business administration.

As a member of the team during the 2018-21 seasons, Barletta manned the goal for 23 matches compiling a 10-6-2 overall record, collecting 58 saves in the process.

Barletta completed his final collegiate season at Southern Nazarene University in 2022, helping lead them to a GAC regular season title, conference championship and NCAA national tournament appearance. Getting it done in both the classroom and on the field, he garnered an All-GAC Honorable Mention nod, along with GAC/MIAA All-Tournament Team, D2CCA All-Central Region 2nd Team, conference goalkeeper of the week and GAC Student Athlete of the Year for the sport of soccer with a 3.9 GPA.

Before his time at Quincy, Barletta excelled as a youth soccer player in his home country of South Africa. As a product of the Bidvest Wits and Mpumalanga Black Aces Youth Academy, he earned a place in the Premier Soccer Reserve League at the age of just 16, making him the leagues youngest footballer at the time.

Barletta enters the staff with prior coaching experience, serving as an assistant and goalkeeper coach for the Erie Commodores Senior men's and women's teams of the NPSL and UWS leagues (4th tier of US soccer) in the summer of 2022.

Joining the ranks of the QU Soccer coaching staff in January of 2023, Barletta works with goalkeepers from both programs. He also holds a level one license from United Soccer Coaches as a goalkeeping Coach.
