Pat Svihlik returned to the Notre Dame College men's soccer program as an assistant coach in April 2022.

Svihlik is back in South Euclid after a stop at Heidelberg University, where he led the program as a head coach from 2016 to 2021. The team clinched a playoff berth in 2016 and 2017.

His first stop at NDC came in 2014 and he helped both the men’s and women’s soccer programs until 2016.

Prior to that, he was an assistant coach on the men’s staff at Ohio Northern University (2012-14). In his time with Marietta College, he was an assistant coach on the men’s team from 2010 to 2012 and then became interim head coach of the women’s team for the spring semester of 2012.

Svihlik was a member of the men’s soccer team at Walsh University. After an injury ended his playing career early, he became an assistant coach. He completed his undergraduate degree in 2007 and then graduated with a Master’s Degree of Education in 2010.
