Sion Chamberlain joined the Notre Dame College men's coaching staff prior to the fall 2021 season.

He comes to NDC from the Kings Hammer Soccer Academy, Kentucky. He spent over a decade developing youth players at Kings Hammer, guiding his teams to Kentucky State Cup, Kentucky Premier League and Midwest Regional league titles. 

During an accomplished playing career, Chamberlain was a four-year starter at the University of Rio Grande, Ohio. He was a two-time American Midwest Conference First Team selection and captained the NAIA powerhouse in his senior year. Prior to arriving in the US, Chamberlain was a youth academy player for Wolverhampton Wanderers of the EPL. He also played in the Welsh Leagues with Llangefni Town and featured for the Anglesey representative team at the World Island Games, which included an historic win against European national side Gibraltar. 

He holds a UEFA B License, USC Advanced National and GK Diplomas and the Coerver Youth Diploma. 

After graduating from Rio Grande in 2001, Chamberlain went on to earn an MPA from Indiana State University. A native of Llangefni, Wales, Chamberlain resides in Bainbridge.
