Homes joined the Holy Family men’s soccer staff ahead of the 2021 season, following a two-year playing career for the Tigers.

In his first season on the staff, HFU’s eight overall wins and six Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victories were tied for its second most over the last 10 years.

The 2022 season was then one of the best in program history, as the Tigers set a program record with nine CACC victories and tied another with a second place finish in the regular season standings. HFU’s 12 overall wins were its most since 2007.

Holmes was a two-year starter and captain for Holy Family in 2018-19, helping lead the Tigers to the CACC Tournament in each of those two seasons, including the semifinals in 2019. The 2019 team’s 11 wins were the Tigers' most since 2011, which was also the last time HFU had advanced to the CACC Tournament Semifinals.

A 2019 All-CACC First Team selection, Holmes was also named the Northeast Times Athlete of the Year in 2019. He was also an All-CACC Academic Team member as well as a member of the National College Athlete Honors Society.

He graduated from Holy Family in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Management-Marketing.

Holmes began his collegiate career at Harcum, where he was also captain while working towards his associate’s degree.
